Due to its evidential importance, I must add at this juncture, some comments about ‘Jewish DNA’ and its survival in your blood.
Understanding Jewish DNA: Not About Purity
Its impact is not at all in claiming the ‘purity’ of the Jewish people. This is the absolute opposite of Judaism. We accept absolutely any and every non-Jew who genuinely and fully convert. He is a Jew without any question. His racial background is completely irrelevant. There are converts of every color and racial group living amongst us as highly respected members of the community.
Jewish DNA as Proof of Cultural Isolation
But, because we can track the DNA of the Jews back to the very beginnings, this proves a distinct, culturally-isolated group. How come they did not intermarry like every other group? They claim a set of behaviors including a ban on intermarriage. If this ban were a single feature with no other laws at all – then the group would have disappeared as soon as any dispersal occurred because there would be nothing else to bind the scattered remnants together except celibacy or minute interbred populations. The very tragedy of the complete dispersal of the Jews across the globe actually proves our case.
Adherence to the Torah’s Way of Life
The DNA proves that the Jews – this miniscule heretical group – must have followed throughout the full, singular way of life set out in the Torah. It was there for all to read. The antiquity of the texts is irrefutably proven by our worse enemies. They date them as at least 2500 years old. The Dead Sea Scrolls must have been treasured and an integral part of the culture of those who hid them under threat of a torturous death. Several are dated to 400 BCE. You do not suddenly write an entire literature and create a new religion and then successfully persuade everyone to lie about it and claim it to be ancient. So the religion was there and people uniquely practising it.
Jewish DNA and the Antiquity of Judaism
Your ancient, uniquely unchanged DNA proves the antiquity of our religion. You are that old. The heritage that 90% of Jews are ignoring is one incontestably verified by everyone – but them. They cannot see their own noses. Judaism simply must not have survived its diaspora – but it did. No other people have even a hint of this.
Judicial Evidence of Jewishness and Survival
This provides judicial evidence of the age and indivisible nature of our Jewishness and Judaism. That we survived at all is inexplicable after 2500 years of the supportive and caring behavior of the non-Jewish world. No, I am not whining – just stating a fact. However that this survival was with our degree of genetic integrity is completely statistically impossible.
Longevity and the Question of Delusion
Yes, of course, longevity does not prove anything other than that we are old. We could be very ancient, very genuine but completely deluded. That is perfectly possible if you look at strange folk like me. However, fortunately, there are scarcely any Jews as crazy as me and of course all the other evidence completely blows away the concept of a mass delusion, hallucination, hysteria, hoax et al as we absolutely prove elsewhere.
Explanations for Impossible Survival
And what of this impossible survival? We just got lucky? We just happened to have a portable religion? Come on, enjoy a non-kosher life, but at least keep your intellectual integrity.
Non-Jewish Views on Jewish Survival
And innumerable, leading non-Jewish minds have found our survival to be utterly inexplicable. From Pascal, Voltaire, Toynbee, Mark Twain to Churchill, John Adams, Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan and many more – usually not entirely in admiration – have regarded us as, at least, a ‘mystery’.
Comparisons to Other Isolated Groups
There is no people in which each individual’s DNA is so closely related to another’s with the exception of the Andaman islanders who have lived entirely physically cut off from the world for thousands of years, the Basque in parallel isolation, and Samaritans now living in two minute groups in Israel. They are today a people of some 850 individuals. Jews have been 7 million in 1000 CE, 17 million in 1940, 11 million in 1950 and about 16 million today. By 2100, in the worse scenario of secular Jews jumping ship, we could be about 12 million and by 2200 about 10 million nearly all orthodox. Flung across the world, not isolated by mountains or the sea, we have maintained our biological and religious integrity.
The Future of Secular Jews
Today’s 14 million secular Jews would soon of course greatly dilute this by marrying non-Jews. Paradoxically, the bitter truth is, as we all know, for a significant number of all secular Caucasians, marriage and kids are things of the past, so the secular Jew will become extinct alongside his childless playmates in the woke playground.
Orthodox Jews and Cultural Identity
Thus, orthodox Jews will remain a distinct group proving the uniqueness of their religious and cultural identity. However world Jewry may lose up to 10 million secular individuals over the next generations if trends continue. As mentioned, the Israeli secularists openly admit that the majority of Jews in the great secular state of Israel will be orthodox within perhaps two generations.
Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jewish DNA
Therefore, without being too personal, if an Ashkenazi, you are not just an ancient relic or fossil, but living testimony of your ancient lineage. Your DNA proves it. If you are Sephardi, it proves that you are in addition, a real aristocrat of noble descent, with a proven 3000 years’ pedigree. As to the matchless Yemenite Jews – they are the purest of the pure. But for all Jews, it is a sobering fact that not only do we have the proven antiquity of your great grandparents’ customs, books and traditions but also the impossible – absolutely impossible – purity and antiquity of your own chromosomes.
Unique Genome and Jewish Identity
Your unique genome proves you are what they call you – a Jew. You have Jewish DNA – a Direct Noble Ancestry – proven by, yes, science. The Jewish nose is not a myth.
Yemenite and Other Ancient Communities
Indeed, our greatest aristocrats, the Yemenites, as we discuss at length, have specific DNA traceable both through female and also through male chromosomes for three millennia. This also applies to many individuals from truly ancient communities such as Iranian and Iraqi Jews and many of the Sephardi nobility.
Ashkenazi Jewish Genetic Markers
But, indubitably, together with quite a number of nasty ‘Jewish hereditary genetic diseases and syndromes’, as mentioned above concerning the Ten Lost Tribes, even Ashkenazim still carry in their DNA up to 6 male markers also going back over 3000 years which are unique to Jews. That’s right – ‘unique’.
Now that is scientifically impossible – unless our narrative is true and we were not lying.
Yemenites as Central Proof
The Yemenites’ lineage is of course utterly beyond understanding and therefore a central proof for our argument – as we learned – yes, from non-Jewish research.
Global Dispersal and Genetic Closeness
Again, your haplotype markers should have been scattered millennia ago – but, impossibly, they were not. And we were not merely dispersed, we were uber-dispersed. Canaan, Egypt, Palestine, Babylon, Palestine, Greece, Palestine, Yemen, Rhinelands, Italy, North Africa, all of Europe, Russia, China, the New World, Australasia, Israel – even to Golders Green. Yet still, no other creature on earth shares such a large proportion of your genome – except me. You are six times closer in your DNA to another Jew than any racial groups of non-Jews are one to another. That is a staggering statistic. It is impossible unless our story is true. Read the gentile secularists’ conclusions:
‘The 40 participants in the Jewish study group were found to match an average of 24.8 or 62.0 % of the other Jewish study participants, while the 40 participants in the non-Jewish study group matched an average of 4.0 or 9.9 % of the other non-Jewish study participants. Hence, Jewish study participants had over 6 times more matches with each other than did non- Jewish study participants.’
DNA Variations Matching History
Further the DNA variations (‘bottlenecks’ indicating an increase or decrease in numbers) match precisely our history. These reflect, to the decade, the exile from Northern Israel in 555 BCE or that from Judea in 420 BCE, the 3000 year old Yemenite, Iranian and Iraqi Jews, the extermination in Roman Palestinia of about 135 CE, the arrival of Jews in Europe as slaves – 100 CE; the freeing of those slaves or the Inquisition in Spain.
Cohanim Markers and Priesthood
And again, impossibly – unless our story is true – this line of genome markers is even more astoundingly clear in male Cohanim. All Cohanim carry more impossibly-matched marker genes than non-Cohanim. Families claimed for 3000 years to be Cohens – and you know what? They were. Again read the conclusions:
‘Our estimates of the coalescence time also lend support to the hypothesis that the extended CMH represents a unique founding lineage of the ancient Hebrews that has been paternally inherited along with the Jewish priesthood.’
You still have royal blood running through your family’s veins. Proud you should feel, already.
Historical Recapitulation
To recapitulate, we have retraced your path from the formation of Christianity, back through the barbaric Christian Roman and pagan Roman periods, to the Destruction of the Second Temple and then to when we built it in 352 BCE.
Before that we witnessed the long and tortured period of the Later Kings when the First Temple stood for 4 centuries. During this time we watched as the Assyrians razed and emptied the north of Israel and then the Babylonians did this to the South and destroyed the First Temple.
On route we have met the most authentic and ancient Yemenite Jews, the non-Jewish Samaritans who share practically our central Text in its original script and other witnesses who watched your journey.
Entering the Era of the First Kings
But now we are indeed to walk back into the reigns of the first kings, Saul, David and Solomon about 830 back to 1100 BCE. It is into these remote times that some again try to squeeze the ‘committee of authors’ scam – the ‘compilation’ of the Torah and its enforcement onto the unsuspecting, terrorised and simple-minded population. We have fully discussed these inadequate ideas. As well as their demolition by probability, if you view them from a historical perspective they must be sheer fantasy.
Challenges to the Compilation Theory
For example, perhaps, before they left, Solomon quickly knocked up the Five Books and gave it to the Yemenites to read on their journey. Not likely. And who leaked it to the Samaritans?
Secondly, King Solomon, crowned in 836 BCE – was David’s son and claimed his rights through him. Surely, at least Wise King Solomon would be canny enough to re-hash the whole story and produce a magnificent narrative which showed the glory and righteousness of the Davidic line. Yet, the version we have (and that he cunningly slipped to the Yemenites) shows David to be obviously an apparent loser, and hopeless failure in branding and capturing the market. Rather than a quiet and sensible sanitisation, all the bad press about David was kept in and we read how he was bitterly criticised for breaking laws.
Laws and the Torah’s Antiquity
Which laws? Oh, those of the non-existent Five Books of the Torah that Solomon was quickly to type up or were to be written 500 years later. Solomon was also severely admonished because he also broke laws. Which laws? Oh, those he had not yet invented. OK – you get the point. Everyone was faced implacably by that most ancient Text. One could not omit a letter – never mind a word. So, all the forbidden practices were there for all to see and to be compared to the actions of David and Solomon.
Why did he not cut out that section banning a king from having many wives? All the things he and his father had “transgressed” could have been gently erased. Why didn’t he edit it? Could he not build up his street-cred? Why not? Because the Text was known by heart by every child. He could not give a sanitized version to anyone. They would have laughed their heads off. And it could not have been written far later to blacken his name remember because the Yemenites, Samaritans and millions of others already had it. Most annoyingly, even the non-Jews keep producing evidence for this in Solomon’s reign. They prove our scam is a non-scam.
Incontrovertible Evidence from Solomon’s Era
Here are four unconnected pieces of incontrovertible evidence.
Khirbat en Nahas
Khirbat en Nahas First, in 1940 Nelson Glueck, an American archaeologist, excavated the Edomite mines at Khirbat en Nahas and he claimed they had provided materials for King Solomon’s Temple. He was laughed off the planet as there was no King Solomon if you remember. The mines simply had to be definitely pre-Jewish. In 1997, Tom Levy of University of California, an expert in examining the role of metallurgy in this definitely pre-Jewish period and definitely pre-Jewish region, commenced work, sensibly, at a definitely pre-Jewish Edomite site called ‘Copper Ruins’ (English for, guess where … … Khirbat en Nahas).
Oxford laboratories soon carbon-dated his samples to precisely King Solomon’s period, verifying Glueck’s theory that copper from here could have been used. But ‘could’ and ‘were’ are two very different things crowed the experts. Then, horror of horrors – again – some evil creature turned the world upside down. Slowly they checked the story and actual materials used. It was not only the closest copper source to Jerusalem but when copper objects were found at the Temple mound, they were be proved absolutely to have come from Khirbat en Nahas and exactly in the period those ignorant Talmudic Jews insist Solomon was busy building his Temple.
King Solomon’s Stables
Secondly, the Islamic Religious Trust (Waqf) had decades ago removed soil from King Solomon’s Stables at the Temple Mount. Their Temple Mount Sifting Project examined this and found artefacts dated to 600 and 700 BCE. Importantly these finds do not comprise relics of merely some human habitation but rather of a sophisticated religious society. There were seals from the First Temple, stone weights for measuring precious metals and other seals with names in Ivri, the proto-Hebrew script used ubiquitously at that time. Also, there were bones of sheep, goats and cattle, but no non-kosher species and only plain, non-glazed pottery containers, oil dispensing jugs and other items described in the Mishna as being used in the Temple. Seems someone built a Temple like the Book says and something was happening there besides the usual $25 guided tours of ancient sites.
Titus’s Arch
Thirdly and more specifically, go, book a trip to Rome. Stand under Titus’s Arch. It was built in 81 CE. On it you can see the 2000 year old carvings depicting your ancestors carrying the sacked Temple’s vessels to Rome. Now those Roman stone carvers were no Talmud scholars. I reckon not one could read Latin – never mind Hebrew.
Yet, they have carved perfect replicas of the vessels as described in detail in the Torah. It is really astonishing – but there it is. There are – clearly to be seen– natural trumpets as described in the Torah; there is a candelabrum –as described in the Torah and there is the golden tiered-table used for holding the showbreads – as described in the Torah. The masons had the actual items in front of them. Now can we any longer presume that these ancient golden vessels, lovingly reproduced for service in the Temples generation after generation, were fictitious?
Ignorant Roman anti-Semites carved them in stone from real life. They were identical with those used in the original ‘portable Temple’ – the Tabernacle – which we used in the desert for forty years and then in the First Temple and then in the Second Temple. They must have existed in 70 CE. And if they existed then, it is reasonable to suppose that those who rebuilt the Second Temple in 352 BCE copied them absolutely faithfully from the vessels looted from the First Temple just seventy years earlier. Remember they had been exhibited as victory booty in Babylon in 422 BCE and returned to the Jews by Cyrus and his descendants in 352 BCE.
Remarkable Accuracy in Description
They match perfectly in every minute detail descriptions in the Torah of those used in the Tabernacle, then First Temple and then the Second. The Tabernacle – that same portable Temple marquee-type structure – was first used, according to the Torah, in about 1300 BCE in the desert, just after Sinai. The ceremonies were practically identical and unchanged right through the First Temple and Second Temple periods. We state that from 1300 BCE to 70 CE we used identical items in our ceremonies. Obviously we cannot be believed – but why should we have changed them one iota? The whole point was that we lovingly replaced the Tabernacle with the First Temple and lovingly rebuilt the Second Temple to replace the destroyed First Temple. We wanted to reinstate exactly the form of service.
The items are all meticulously described in the Torah – every measurement to the centimeter, the materials, the manner of construction. Why on earth should we change them? Solomon instituted many additional features in his vast new permanent First Temple, all of which are described as such, but he certainly also reproduced and used all the original items faithfully.
The Second Temple was different from the First but not in any operational detail. Now I am not presuming that this proves we had a Tabernacle or even a First or Second Temple except as far as they are mentioned in non-Jewish texts. However, those Roman stone carvings have images that came from somewhere. They match exactly the descriptions of the items used in the Tabernacle. Also, they match exactly the descriptions of the items used in the First Temple. And lastly, they also match exactly the descriptions of the items used in the Second Temple!
Still Thinking It’s a Myth?
Not just that, they have the exact same descriptions of the items in the Mishnah. They also have the exact same descriptions of the items in the Talmud. How can any sane person presume that someone made up all these details and somehow inserted them into our history any later than the First Temple era? It seems it is certain that those descriptions and the Torah containing them predate the First Temple. And you may remember that Nebuchadnezzar bragged about razing a Temple somewhere near the Hilton Hotel in Jerusalem and the Romans made up the same crazy story – and everyone believed them.
The She-Ass and Bilaam
Another funny thing happened in Solomon’s reign. A certain she ass appears. Well, nearly. You might very vaguely remember a mythical Biblical story about a mythical she-ass launching into a mythical debate with a mythical pagan prophet called Bilaam the son of Be’or. He wanted to curse the Jews (nothing unusual in that); she wanted better wages (nothing unusual in that); an angel appeared (nothing unusual in that) and that’s it, really. What is relevant is that the mythical Bilaam son of Be’or turned up in 1967, referred to by his full name, at an entirely non-mythical archaeological find, slap bang in the middle of King Solomon’s reign at Deir Alla. Yes, obviously all that this proves is that this story could have existed then and they had asses and myths about this character.
Yet Bilaam’s Facebook profile fits the story very well, and remember minimalists strongly reject the existence of even Solomon, never mind men who converse with asses. OK, they may have agreed that asses existed. Further, this archaeological text specifies that Bilaam spoke only at night with the Almighty, just like it also says in Numbers. Further, we were to be cursed by Bilaam to stop us burning and destroying promiscuous, child-sacrificing pagans. This site – Deir Alla – had clear evidence – like many Canaanite habitations – of being burnt down in 1270 BCE, just when we were invading Canaan and old Bilaam was a-cursing.
More coincidence?
