Deep Time is a ridiculous concept that requires you to believe that geological timelines span over billions of years, exponentially larger than any human timeline.
Elsewhere we have shown how ridiculous Darwinism becomes after even the simplest scientific scrutiny. Math and Probability liquidize it. However hilarious its claims and dreams are – the scientific laws governing time and dating utterly shred it. The “deep” time scale required by Darwin never existed..
Darwin speaks of eons of imperceptible change. Little deer-like things became blue whales. ‘Give ‘em long enough and they jus’ do it. See?!’
And he knew how heavily his nonsense relied on this.
In his seminal work, The Origin of Species, Darwin frequently addressed the vital necessity of vast temporal scales to account for the gradual process of evolution.
Now I am quoting fairly fully from his babblings because this is an absolutely vital and deadly proof against the man and his ridiculous faith.
Darwin’s Own Dependence on Deep Time
“He who can read Sir Charles Lyell’s grand work on the Principles of Geology… and yet does not admit how incomprehensibly vast have been the past periods of time, may at once close this volume.”
This is plain stupid because vast periods of time prove nothing, unless there is evidence of that which is claimed to have happened. There is none!
“As natural selection acts solely by accumulating slight, successive, favorable variations, it can produce no great or sudden modification; it can act only by very short and slow steps.”
Translates as ‘there is no evidence, so I will claim an imperceptible change which therefore cannot be disproved’. The length of time a deer took to turn into a whale again becomes irrelevant until you have proved it could happen.
“The mind cannot possibly grasp the full meaning of the term of a hundred million years; it cannot add up and perceive the full effects of many slight variations, accumulated during an almost infinite number of generations.”
Again, perhaps true of all minds – but there is not a shred of evidence that anything changed.
“The crust of the earth is a vast museum; but the natural collections have been made only at intervals of time immensely remote.”
Tiferes Yisrael and the Archaeological Layers
The ‘Tiferes Yisrael’ – Rabbi Israel Lipschitz was a unique figure in the 19th-century rabbinic landscape. He discusses the archaeological layers and discusses them with no problem.
He was not only a master of the Talmud but also possessed a broad knowledge of secular sciences, history, and languages, including Latin and Greek. This breadth of knowledge often informed his commentaries.
It is in his famous Drush Or HaChayim that he discussed the discovery of layered dinosaur fossils and their reconciliation with the account of Creation in Genesis.
One must add that the intellectual gulf between such a giant and little Charlie boy is indescribable. I have spent hours trying to fathom out Rabbi Lipschitz’s brilliant commentaries and only scratched the surface, if that. Darwin’s voluminous fantastical nonsense has nothing beneath the surface.
Conflating the Age of Earth With the Age of Life
Again, he has conflated the age of the earth with age of life on earth. The rocks have to be so old that perhaps he could imagine that ‘something’ could have happened.
However, as we have written ad nauseam, there was no ‘something’ to have happened. If a bus is not scheduled, you can wait forever at the stop. It isn’t coming.
But we need here really to emphasize again that this ‘something’ is imaginary. This is because you are brainwashed into believing ‘it’ happened. Surely something must have happened, or how are we here?
OK, that’s a reasonable question but crazy answers do not answer it.
Adaptation vs. Mutation
It is all utter nonsense because we have never seen the slightest beneficial mutation. All we see constantly is ‘adaption’ within a species.
Long-haired wolves survive the Arctic cold and have litters including pups with long hair. The rest freeze to death.
Short-haired wolves a cool dudes and can hunt better in India, so the longhaired boil to death because they cannot run in the heat. They are dead and as one may suspect have no pups.
The skinheads however chill out and multiply.
This is not mutation. It adaptation.
So mutation has never been seen to occur, and significantly, by its own lights, it would not have had time to do its thing in the mere 4.5 billion years now agreed as the age of life.
Darwin Half Admits the Problem
Strangely Charlie half admits this:
“Slow though the process of selection may be, if feeble man can do much by artificial selection, I can see no limit to the amount of change… which may have been effected in the long course of time through nature’s power of selection.”
There it is in one sentence. The confusion of the billions of years of the earth’s existence somehow achieving a parallel with deliberate interbreeding.
He conflates artificial selection and breeding with never, ever recorded mutation.
And of course, even intense interbreeding has never even shown the slightest hint of any new species – merely adaptions.
All cows stay cows, dogs stay dogs, finches – finches, fruit flies – fruit flies. And particularly mutationalists stay faithheads.
And then rather weirdly – he mumbles – I can see no limit to the amount of change… which may have been effected. Who’s side are you on Charlie? What’s this ‘may have been’?!
Mutational Faith vs. Religious Faith
Well, sorry. I am not of such very blind faith.
I do respect most other religious faiths for the great goodness they usually bring mankind and their bravery and loyalty. But these mutating scientists spinning their mutating stories? No way.
So dating has cut off the billions of billions of years necessary for life to ‘evolve’. This is very clearly proven elsewhere.
So why not call the mutants out? Just haul them out of their empty pleasure-world and ask, ‘Which eons?’
There should surely be a slight pause. A moment’s thought. No way.
There will no embarrassed silence, because they are always right. Right?
Reckon the Israelis invented ‘chutzpah’? Darwinians got there first.
The Escape Route: Rapid Mutation
They just invent a crazier lie – an impossibility called ‘Rapid Mutation’ in the wink of an eye. My Book Three utterly demolishes this – and much of that is included of course here.
And delusionalists can be crafty, clever and even underhand. They will spin any yarn to be able to serve the god of libertarianism and live a life free of personal moral restrictions – that is a life free of religion.
They cannot accept that modern scientists – all evolution lovers to a man – have proven beyond a scintilla of doubt that there were never any sufficient imaginary vast expanses of time to allow mutation. Life was not around long enough.
This needs to be repeated endlessly because you not going to believe me or any evidence. Pure idol worship is a deaf faith.
Judaism and the Question of Time
Now this is not an issue for Judaism.
I am not banging a drum here for any modern views about the ‘age’ of the earth or life. We see time through the eyes of the kabbalah. Elsewhere we discuss the entire question.
Our most ancient writings encompass a ‘Big Bang’ in the terms of Nachmanides (1194 – 1272) and Deep Time and indeed date the world at 14 -15 billion Kabbalistic ‘years’.
The definition of a ‘day’ in the terms of Genesis has been a matter of discussion for 3000 years and we have 2500 years of texts to prove that.
So we are not ‘Young Earthers’.
However that does not let Darwin off the hook. Yes, the world is older than 10 minutes but Life is not old enough for his nonsense.
Radiometric Dating and the Death of Deep Time
Radiometric dating proved that life has not had long enough for mutation to have occurred. The faithful invented said, afore-mentioned ‘rapid’ evolution’.
That’s right. Give it a couple of weeks and every creature will change entirely, grow or lose legs, wings, beaks, whatever and become a hyena, whale, platypus or anything really.
The only thing these creatures have in common is a higher IQ than evolutional delusionalists.
So again, let’s get this straight.
The relationship between radiometric dating and the theory of biological evolution is one of the most contentious points between geophysics and mytho-Darwinian-biology.
The murder of “deep time” by radiometric dating has meant that a significant body of literature reveals a timeline for life far too short for the accumulation of the millions of beneficial mutations required for macroevolution.
The Concept of “Deep Time” vs. Biological Complexity
In standard evolutionary models, Life is estimated to be approximately 4.54 billion years old, a figure derived primarily from the radiometric dating of meteorites and ancient terrestrial rocks using lead-lead and potassium-argon methods.
OK. The 4 billion purported years is a long time.
But according to the ‘experts’ even 4 billions of years are mathematically insufficient for the “waiting time” required for specific coordinated mutations. This is often referred to as the “Waiting Time Problem.”
The question of the universe’s age is very different.
We also – 2000 years ago – stated in writing that the universe’s age is 14 billion Kabbalistic years. So NASA’s similar figure is pretty good – for scientists.
Books such as Darwin’s Demise and Radioisotopes and the Age of the Earth are but two of the hundreds of open challenges to Uncle Charlie. His entire age of the earth presumption has been liquidized.
For instance, if decay rates were faster in the past (accelerated decay), a rock that appears to be 100 million years old might actually be far younger.
This is a justifiable claim – but actually as good as any argument put out up by Charlie boy’s gang.
If the Earth is young, the “Darwinian style” of mutation—which requires vast epochs to filter out deleterious mutations and fix beneficial ones—simply has no chronological foundation to stand upon.
The “Waiting Time” and Genetic Entropy
Even if one accepts the standard radiometric timeline of 4.5 billions of years, scientists argue that the time is still insufficient. This is based on the mathematical probability of specific mutations occurring.
Calculations by geneticists like Dr. John Sanford suggest that for a human-like population to evolve a specific string of just two coordinated mutations, it would take over 100 million years—longer than the time humans have supposedly been diverging from apes.
Again, we have not had time. This perhaps explains why so many people appear to underdeveloped (especially in their table manners – like me).
When radiometric dating is used to “bracket” fossil finds ( finding the age of the rock immediately above and below), it often reveals that new species appear in the fossil record abruptly (the “Cambrian Explosion” or “Punctuated Equilibrium”), leaving no time for the transitional mutations Darwinism predicts. Oops!!
