Complete darkness. Sounds of torrential rain crashing onto lush vegetation; bestial roars, shrieks and howls. A heart-stopping clap of thunder. Lightning reveals –
A primordial vista of jungles, mountains and plains packed with battling prehistoric monsters – mammoths, woolly rhinos, sabre-toothed cats, dire wolves, musk oxen, colossal bears, giant sloths et al – and tiny, desperate humans.
Darkness. Absolute silence: Pause: Clap of thunder. Lightning reveals –

CLOSE UP: The figure is an atheist philosopher, dignified and noble, thoughtfully stroking his chin and wearing the robes of an academic – flapping in the gale.

CLOSE UP: The desperate humans are all now clearly seen. They are dressed in every variety of ceremonial religious vestments. And they are battling with each other – not the animals.

A thunderous voice intones – as if starting a revivalist sermon:-
As a Beginning of creating the Atheist questioned the Heavens and the Earth – the world was astonishingly ignorant – with utter ignorance on the face of the deep-minded; and the Atheist’s Intellect hovered above the surface of the ignorance.
He said, ‘Let there be my truth,’ and there was his truth. And he saw that his truth was good – and he separated between his truth and others’ ignorance. He called his truth ‘Reason’ and the ignorance he called ‘Religion’.
And there was Confusion and there was Enlightenment – One Era.

A Very Familiar Story
OK. I admit it. It isn’t entirely original. There is an earlier version called Genesis – about 3330 years old and in Hebrew (originally called Bereshit). And, yes, I did slightly alter the translation in places. But this is still far closer to the original than most renditions that you have seen – in a sense.
Further, I fully agree that – ‘And it was evening and it was morning – the first day’ in the good old King James Version is far more elegant than ‘And there was Confusion and there was Enlightenment – One Era’.
The Hidden Meaning in the Text
Anyway, what is that meant to mean? Also, what of ‘As a Beginning of creating …’?
Well, the answers lead us to a secret carefully hidden from you and all secular Jews.
But I must add here – it was not hidden from the greatest secular mind, Sir Isaac Newton. However that is another secret – and for another time – in his own blogs.
Sorry. Newton was definitely not Jewish – although his nose … And it seems impossible but – unbelievably – utterly logical Newton rejected faith religions including Christianity and atheism but scrutinized and intellectually embraced Judaism. The moment he started investigation into his age’s preoccupation with Armageddon and the ‘secrete and most misteryous writtings of the Jewes’ he realized that he had stumbled upon something completely opposite to a ‘pure faith’ concoction. He could not believe that this really existed and thus understood why he would have been burnt alive for examining this publically. Jews had been allowed into England by Cromwell from 1648. There were Jewish merchants in reasonably large numbers by June 1661. The year young Isaac went up to Cambridge. Newton soon sought out Jewish academics and studied with them. His Hebrew was scant but all the Greek and Latin translations he had of Jewish works were heavily marked and underscored by thousands of his hand-written insights. He was an avid student of the Talmud and a ‘clandestine Maimonidian mono-Deist’. He studied under several Jewish tutors. Hebrew was an extremely popular study at that time. The talk was of a second coming and that the Hebrew texts had proof of this.
Wanted: Native Hebrew Speakers!
Many Jews were hired to teach the secret language. In truth I am pretty certain that these were ordinary Jewish merchants who all had the normal fluency in Jewish learning that orthodox Jews have had for thousands of years. There were many eras in which poverty or other reasons prevented this, but normally Jews managed to give their children enough knowledge to allow the brightest to delve into our literature.
Now Newton was trying this. His secret chest from 1727, hidden after his death by his family because of the blasphemous material it contained, was purchased, and his innumerable hidden writings, specifically on this, deciphered and displayed by Sir Maynard Keynes, the economist, in 1947.
The Demographic Crisis Facing Secular Jews
My motivation to write this is that the splendor and logic of atheism has vindicated millions of decent, discerning, well-educated, wonderful Jews like you – who are about to cremate their heritage. By 2075, four fifths of us will have willingly, comfortably self-annihilated as assimilated, child-free Jews. Like all secular Caucasians, we will have vanishingly few offspring, and even less will be interested their ‘Jewish heritage’. Since the Germans’ 6 million, we have ourselves painlessly extinguished – yes, astonishingly – another 12 million – as Jews with no Jewish future.
My family lost some 240 members when we were murdered by Germans and Poles in Sanz in April, 1942 – so I absolutely do not trivialise this. Obviously one cannot begin to compare our present innocent assimilation to indescribable extermination. The parallel is only from the viewpoint of the survival of Judaism and not Jewish individuals.
Why Self-Extermination Goes Unnoticed
OK. Our own self-extermination rarely raises an eyebrow. First, it’s very old news. Secondly, who cares? And thirdly – you whining about it? No point – not one sane secular Jew going to change his lifestyle and suddenly start breeding children for his nominal religion’s sake. You got a supernatural Creator? Let him work it out! Imagine, you just about managed to afford summer break and now you want to contemplate kids??!!
So only a shock might change that comfortable myopia. Thus, perhaps, at this very last moment, allow me to prove to you that an unsuspected and invisible world has been hidden from you. You have been tricked into woke sterility.
A Judicial Review of Judaism
In this strict judicial review, I am to present to the jury an irrefutable argument. This whips away a very large and comforting fig leaf from your average, honest, intelligent, gifted, intellectual, altruistic, commendable, wonderful (etc., etc.) secular Jew. It modestly conceals his greatest delusion.
Throughout, I use only irrebuttable non-Jewish evidence, unblinking scrutiny and transparency – all of which would have to be accepted in any civilised legal system. Although, I admit that – having been an Officer of His Majesty’s Supreme Court for over four desultory decades – actually I am not aware of any civilised legal system. Justice is only for the rich.
In the process, I shall prove myself to be the ultimate iconoclast, heretic and infidel.
The Common Delusion About Judaism
Said fig leaf is the sensible, average, honest, intelligent, gifted, intellectual, altruistic, commendable, wonderful (etc., etc.) secular Jew’s unshakable certainty that Judaism is a concoction of ancient and more recent rituals and superstitions forced on his simple ancestors by the religious oligarchy. We survived because of an insanely strict daily regime, massive guilt, Jewish mothers (and mothers-in-law) and a prohibition on intermarriage – all combined with anti-Semitism. The whole thing is a massive scam to sell synagogue subscriptions and kosher food. The ultimate guilt-trip, Bubelah. This, absolutely reasonably, permits him to slide unknowingly, comfortably into oblivion as a Jew. He has an immovable blind faith in this.
If you think this fragile piece of foliage is safe, you will soon feel very exposed. The jury – you are sitting as judge – will have to accept that the judicial facts establish Judaism’s claims. It is not, and never has been, a blind ‘faith’. Let us remove the word ‘faith’ from our definition of your children’s lost religion.
This seems an absolutely ridiculous claim. We all know religions are unprovable. We all know they are imposed by self-perpetuating oligarchies. If it were provable then how come most Jews are bailing out in their masses? My claim is obviously that of another evangelical lunatic trying to beguile you with chicken soup and guilt.
Well, no. I was as shocked as you will be. Just read on a little. Astonishingly, disturbingly, most inconveniently – the facts stack up. You have been conned. A problematic and disconcerting secret was indeed hidden.
Forgetting the Stereotypes
And please, please, forget the guilt trips, the embarrassing family and tribal rituals, the suffocating Holocaust lectures, the stultifying sermons, the sad old people, the condominiums, the boring funerals. Forget the last century’s preoccupation with lox’n’bagels, Zionism and lousy comedians. Also, forget the clichés and caricatures. Forget, yes, even klezmer.
I bring, for your kind consideration, inevitable non-Jewish evidence that Judaism – but no other religion I have studied – can be proven – in any court of law. And I really do try always to avoid drenching you in guilt and sentimental kosher hogwash.
Now, please do not laugh too uproariously – at least as yet – because this book will establish the above, even for the most hardened, sceptical, cynical anti-Semitic Jew – like me. Again, there is absolutely, absolutely no ‘faith’ involved. You merely need to dig into the judicially-acceptable evidence which abounds. Ignorance alone allows you to dismiss it as a mass of superstitious, kitsch-laden, ancient cultural baggage.
The Security Blanket of Ignorance
Ignorance. Oh, so convenient ignorance. Our vast, all-absorbing security blanket. Well, Linus (as in Peanuts) at least could use his ubiquitous security blanket as formidable weapon. So, lead on, Linus… [Actually, it was ‘Lay on, MacDuff’ originally.] Why do you not actually use the illogical Plastic Judaism mythology sold to you as that security blanket against itself?
All the following are undisputed – non-Jewish archaeology, non-Jewish written material, non-Jewish history, non-Jewish records of our practices stretching back three millennia in the Yemen and Iran, the laws of non-Jewish mathematics, non-Jewish Probability, non-Jewish entropy, non-Jewish evidential probity and other non-Jewish sources. I think you may have got the point by now. We are absolutely not going to believe those Jews or any pious exhortations. As we progress on our journey, I prove absolutely each and every claim from non-Jewish sources. In addition, we have the unassailable unbroken chain of your own family’s heritage which we shall track back for some three millennia.
We work through three pivotal proofs.
Rational: The Law of Probability
First, we examine whether we are justified even in considering Judaism seriously as anything more than a blind faith. Is it really worth intelligent, logical and honest people’s time? Can we find true evidential probity and unemotional and purely cerebral arguments? What does the entirely objective, immutable Law of Probability say about this?
Historical: The Sinai Argument
Secondly, if we can establish in Reason and Probability that we should listen to the Jew’s claims, then let us hear his arguments proving the claimed Revelation at Sinai. Could there possibly be a judicially verifiable testimony that goes back three millennia?
Purely Judicial: Inevitable Evidence
Thirdly, let us cross-examine the evidence within the purely non-Jewish arena. Is there really inevitable evidence to the standard required in any criminal case – beyond any reasonable doubt? For each piece of evidence, we use only non-Jewish, atheist sources and use juristic methods. The key word is ‘inevitable’. The proof must be inevitable. We must make a water-tight case.
I have merely collected all the above here for you to disbelieve – if you can.
Again, our ignorance of these facts has allowed most of us today to have marched – lustily singing our little heads off – through the iron gates of annihilation as Jews. OK: no grinning Germans, Poles or priests – just assimilation.
Gentle, easy, beguiling, cosy, luxuriant, normal, sensible, sophisticated and unremarkable – but oh, so thorough and final – assimilation.
The party is over.
Before You Decide To End Your Heritage
And you? Before that final gasp extinguishing 3000 years of your own family’s noble, unbroken and proud history, please may I dare to suggest that you stop. Spare a brief, deathbed glance of astonishment and disbelief at the real thing – ‘Real Judaism’.
You have never even guessed of its existence and yet it undermines everything in your universe.
And, think for a moment. Wouldn’t you even peek inside a locked chest that your great-grandmother had left – to you alone? You know something; she did just that – but they hid the key from you.
Why ‘Real’ Judaism?
This is the rational way of life of the educated, vibrant, contented observant Jews who are deeply knowledgeable about Judaism and every aspect of Life. Yes, from Nike to narcotics, dinosaurs to democracy, extinction rebellion to the X-factor ad nauseam.
The center of their world is scintillating logic, scrutiny and knowledge. This is based on their daily immersion in the encyclopedic, 1.8 million word text which was hidden from you – the ultimate decryption of the Old Testament – the Aramaic Talmud. Real Judaism survives everything. It is regenerative. That is the central point. It endures and makes the individual endure. People are at one with their great grandchildren – there is no generation gap.
This is the secret of Judaism which has been concealed from you through ignorance and prejudice.
Real Judaism: A Relief From The Plastic, Fake Version
Yes, ‘Real Judaism’ is a strange phrase. But I use it to highlight the deathly ‘Plastic Judaism’ which has destroyed 90% of us. Below, I gently eradicate the misconception that this ‘plastic’ version limply bequeathed to you is the real thing and authentic. It simply is not. Sorry, to be so blunt. It is self-destructive. Usually, its grandchildren reject their vague heritage!
We will speak in terms of the impossibility, inexplicability, plausibility, probability, believability and a few other ‘…bilities’ of Real Judaism. There are real consequences from the disturbing fact that the unbending Law of Probability alone, as you will discover to your horror, makes it’s veracity beyond any mathematical doubt – or, if you insist – merely inexplicably inexplicable, as you will learn. We must consider those implications very seriously in this judicial examination. The court first must scrutinise this phenomenon which we have discovered.
And those suspicious, black-clothed, bearded, inward-looking, fundamentalist madmen who follow Real Judaism really do engage in other things besides business, having thick accents, business, praying, business, ritual, business, consuming chicken-soup, business and chomping bagels, as the world presumes.
They are given a vast, panoramic and harmonic view of Life and all its vicissitudes. They are taught to question everything sceptically and scrutinise the answers. From childhood their brains are honed and stretched in the most difficult academic arena imaginable. Oxbridge and Ivy League top Ph.D’s in quantum, maths, sciences, philosophy, IT – you name it – are all humbled before the Jewish Talmud when they begin to apply themselves to it. Even five part harmony seems trivial.
The Depth of Real Judaism
Why is the world so unfathomably painful? How do you face the worst and darkest tragedies? Why are we here? Can you establish Judaism based on cold logic, strict reason and judicial probity? Can you prove the Deity exists? Is the Torah genuine and true? Can you prove secularism is self-defeating? Can you prove atheism is pure faith?
Less generalised topics with which our Sages dealt, in writing, a full 2000 years ago, include finding and using π, discovering the Kabbalistic age of the universe is 15 billion ‘years’, establishing that beneath our feet are buried the remains of 974 extinct ‘worlds’ in strict order, debating heliocentricity and geocentricity, plotting the spherical planetary system: the Big Bang: quantum Time and Light: in other words all the things that you thought it was forbidden even to contemplate.
Had you mentioned these to a non-Jew until about 250 years ago – you would have been burnt alive by the Church. Yet thousands of Rabbinical theses were written on all these topics throughout our 2000 years of scholarship – whilst the Church was torturing witches and heretics. All were based on original material from 1312 BCE as we prove later. The sheer academic brilliance and human common-sense of your lost heritage is staggering.
Real Judaism: Your Conclusion
Real Judaism places the Torah, illuminated by the Talmud, and Jewish Law and its practice at the centre of a person’s life. It has proved to be regenerative – generation after generation, diaspora after diaspora. Utter poverty and oppression certainly cannot touch it. Even centuries of wealth, comfort and tolerance usually do not destroy it.
Three generations ago, your family studied the Talmud. This is why you are reading this. If they had not, you would probably be so estranged that anything with a hint of the ‘J’ word would repel you. You would have so strong a prejudice against orthodox Jews that you would have never opened this page.
But you did – and read this far! Bad luck.
