This is not an appeal to faith, guilt, or sentiment. Consider this article as a strict judicial review for the cynical, skeptical and rational individual. If you emotionally feel that you must escape Judaism and all that horrific baggage, this is the place for a breath of fresh air and a new, absolutely rational examination. We will put Judaism on trial, but the evidence presented will not be Jewish. In this court, we will use only non-Jewish sources, unblinking logic, and the unbending laws of mathematics. That is our proof of Judaism. We are examining only Judaism’s evidential probity, not chicken soup and kitsch.

The case before us is not an argument against atheism. It is an argument against the blind comfortable faith that like all religions, Judaism is a blind comfortable faith. Judaism is not a faith. It is diametrically opposite to faith. It is a judicially verifiable historic fact. Bad luck!!

We shall produce non-Jewish evidence which sharply marks the void between comfortable, shallow suburban Jewish-ness – plastic Judaism – and the live, vibrant Real Judaism of which you probably have not the slightest inkling. All you know of is the distinct wrinkling of secular Jewish noses at the mention or sight of ultra-orthodox, black-hatted, bearded creatures from the Middle Ages with thick accents and all the other horrific baggage your clade have at last managed to shed.

Hey, who are you calling ‘ignorant’? Mind you, on reflection – Yes, better stay ignorant. Why rattle my cage?

But it is actually a cage. And mockingly, it is called a free, liberal world of choice and self-discovery. This is nothing but a comfortable assumption that breeds intellectual inertia. Again, yes, Real Judaism’s central claim is very provocative. Again, it is judicially beyond any reasonable doubt and it explodes your world. The foundational narrative of Judaism can be proven in a any court of law, beyond a reasonable doubt. All this, without recourse to a single pious exhortation. You are the judge and jury! OK, I am the wily lawyer of decades of distasteful duplicity (actually nearly forty years – aargh!)

The Core Claim: An Impossible Survival.

The argument hinges on our claim being so utterly ridiculous that its mere survival for over 3,330 years is a mathematical impossibility. Nobody could accept such a story. Especially not argumentative, skeptical cynical Jews – like you and me.

No other religion in history has dared to base its legitimacy on a a vast, publicly verifiable event. Almost every other religion relies on a single man’s experience of a private, unwitnessed revelation. He proves his validity by being a special person, performing miracles and persuading the masses. Such faiths have billions of followers today. They work.

Your forebears did the opposite. They claimed something impossible and ridiculous. The narrative is that at Mount Sinai in 1312 BCE:

1. All the Jews personally and simultaneously witnessed,
2. And watched one another witness,
3. The Revelation and Giving of the Torah,
4. They then immediately followed the Laws,
5. Each entire generation passed on that historical event,
6. Each generation followed the Laws,
7. Each generation can be traced to this day.

This is not a story of a lone prophet’s private vision. It is a claim of a shared, national experience, witnessed by millions and passed down through a verifiable chain. Its success breaks every known law of probability.

So what?!! It happened. Had to happen once and the Jews got lucky. After all they sold New York to the highest bidder. Well, no. Sorry, that does not actually work. And I thought we bought New York.

Argument 1: The Unbending Law of Probability

First, we must examine the case through the objective lens of mathematics. What does the immutable Law of Probability say about the survival of this claim?

A 1-in-50,000 Shot

Historians and religious scholars estimate that roughly 50,000 religions have existed over the past 4,000 years. Of these, Judaism is the only one with a narrative of a mass, public, simultaneous revelation to an entire nation that has survived. The vast majority rely on the unwitnessed, private claims of a single individual—claims that, by their nature, can be neither proven nor disproven. Judaism’s claim, by contrast, is judicially testable.

The odds of this unique narrative surviving are, therefore, approximately 1 in 50,000. This is the statistical equivalent of throwing a standard die and getting six sixes in a row. Now, pose this question to your rational mind: If a man approached you and threw six consecutive sixes on command, would you trust him with your life savings? Or would you conclude, with 99.998% certainty, that you were witnessing a fraud? The odds against him being legitimate are astronomical.

Based on pure mathematical probability, the odds of Judaism having disappeared are 49,999 to 1—a certainty. You must not exist as a Jew – or post-Jew. Its narrative is of a type that is destined to fail. Its survival is a statistical impossibility, yet it persists. (Yea, yea – so we got lucky.)

Argument 2: The Unbroken Chain of Evidence

Beyond probability, the historical proof—known as the Sinai Argument—rests on a chain of evidence. This chain is perfectly acceptable judicially. Follow the argument. It is not particularly convoluted even though I am a lawyer and a Jew.

The core of the argument is an unbroken chain of testimony.

You personally know that your father, mother, Hebrew teacher. rabbi – someone told you personally (or you read or whatever) that they had heard from their father, mother, Hebrew teacher. rabbi – someone – that they had heard from their father, mother, Hebrew teacher. rabbi – someone – a particular piece of information – that we claim the Sinai experience.

Now you are not being told that it is true – only that it was told to the previous generation. Each generation passes the account to the next as a direct report: “My father told me that his father told him…” My book proves absolutely that there was never a single generation in which this tale could have been made up. Sure, don’t believe me but consider the evidence adduced when we get there – all the way back to the generation that personally and collectively claimed to witness the event. Each has heard from the earlier generation that they were told something. That much we can believe.

Again, I am not saying that what they were told was true or a fairy tale – but it was passed on without a shadow of doubt or you would not be sitting there wondering why you, an emancipated Jew, are reading this stuff. Surely you have something better to be doing?

Presenting Generations of Eyewitnesses

To understand the legal probity of this, consider a courtroom analogy. You, the judge, are presented with a witness, Mr. Obadiah Trustful, who testifies, “My father told me that his father told him that his great-grandfather saw Murderous Mike stab poor Widow Faithful.” You must rule the great-grandfather’s testimony as inadmissible hearsay; he cannot be cross-examined. However, as you interrogate the witness, you are forced to make several concessions.

“So, you’s, yer Honour m’Lord, saying my dad’s a liar, most respectfully, like?” the witness might ask.

“No,” you would be forced to reply. “I believe you entirely that you heard those words from your father. I believe your testimony.”

“So, you’s a saying I should not have believed my dad?”

“No, no, no. You were perfectly correct to believe him. I would have believed him had he spoken to me personally.” This logic continues up the chain. You concede that the witness’s father was correct to believe his father, and that his grandfather was correct to believe his father, who was the eyewitness. As the judge, you must finally admit, “I agree that each of you, your father and his father was correct to believe his parent.”

Preserving the Sinai Evidence For Generations

The legal principle is sound: while distant hearsay is inadmissible in court, the direct testimony each person in the chain received from their parent was justifiably believed by that court. Each generation was correct to believe the direct report of its parents, who were not recounting a myth but stating a fact: “This is what our parents, who were there, told us.”

But what of corruption over time, the so-called “Chinese Whispers” effect? This is refuted by a simple fact: the message was not merely oral. It was meticulously recorded in a written text, the Torah. As evidenced by the Dead Sea Scrolls and the identical texts preserved in complete isolation by Yemenite Jews for over 2,700 years, this document has been copied with an accuracy unparalleled in the ancient world, preserving the core testimony verbatim across millennia. By contrast, Christian academics cheerfully discuss the 200,000 + discrepancies in their text.

Now this legal argument is water-proof. You heard what your father/teacher told you. All he said was that he had heard what his father told him. All his father said was that he had heard what his father …

Debunking the Usual Excuses

The secular mind, faced with this evidence, often retreats behind a comforting fig leaf of familiar refutations suggesting how the Torah started. While over a dozen such hypotheses have been proposed—from Mass Hysteria to a Brazen Lie to a Chance Combination of natural events—they all fail under judicial review. They are all fully dismissed in other blogs. For now, let us examine three representative examples.

The Idiotic Hypotheses

• The Hallucination Hypothesis: This theory posits that the event at Sinai was a mass hallucination. The problem is that there are no recorded parallel cases in history of a large group of people experiencing the exact same hallucination simultaneously. The most cited example, the “miracle of the sun” at Fatima in 1917, was not a shared vision. Investigations, including by the Catholic Church itself, concluded that the reports of a “dancing sun” were optical effects caused by thousands of people staring directly at the sun, a neurophysiological reaction, not a collective apparition.
• The Coalescence Hypothesis: This theory suggests Judaism did not appear suddenly but gradually evolved, or “coalesced,” from local pagan Canaanite cults over centuries. This has been directly contradicted by non-Jewish archaeological evidence. Excavations in Canaan show a complete absence of Jewish artifacts before a specific date. Then, suddenly after 1272 BCE—the date tradition gives for the conquest under Joshua—Jewish remains appear, and pagan artifacts quickly vanish. This points not to a gradual evolution but a sudden arrival, just as the narrative claims.
• The ‘Some Sort of Hoax’ Hypothesis: This is the default assumption—that it was all a clever trick by Moses. Yet, a hoax of this scale is impossible for two reasons. First, you cannot convince an entire nation that they all just simultaneously witnessed a massive public event that never happened. Second, this “hoax” came with an immediate and extremely demanding lifestyle of laws and rituals. If such a monumental deception were possible, especially one that successfully imposes a difficult way of life, it would be the most effective tool for founding a religion in history. It would have been attempted again and again. It never has.

The Verdict: Ignorance as the True “Final Solution”

If these arguments hold, the greatest threat to Judaism is not external extermination but internal dissolution through simple ignorance of the facts on this site. The historical record is a testament to survival against all odds, but the demographic data today presents today’s existential Final Solution. Our ethnic suicide through ignorance and assimilation.

Statistics from “The Jewish Spectator” starkly illustrated this. Researchers tracked the descendants of American Jews over four generations. A group of 100 Orthodox Jews, centered on Talmudic learning, grew to between 3,400 and 5,000 descendants. A corresponding group of 100 secular Jews dwindled to just 4 descendants who identified as Jewish. That’s old, old news. Punch in ‘Pew et al Jewish population stats. future’.

Today, we Woke secular dudes have roughly 1 child for 4 adults – like all the other First World white upper middle class. That’s 12 million today, 3 million in 2075, less than a million secular Jews in a century. A world truly Judenrein. We beat those Germans! And what is far worse, those ultra-orthodox lunatics will be about 4 million. That is nearly 1000 miles of earlocks. Well the truth is so gut-wrenching that a little humor may help(?!).

My book draws a stark conclusion: since 1945, secular Jews, through assimilation and demographic decline, have “painlessly extinguished… another 12 million” of themselves as Jews with a Jewish future. This, (I am sorry), is the completion of the “German dream,” achieved not through violence but through comfort—a “painless, pink and fluffy Final Solution.”¹

Now, most emphatically, obviously one cannot begin to compare our present innocent assimilation to indescribable extermination. The parallel is only from the viewpoint of the survival of Judaism and not Jewish individuals.

• The universe must not exist. All the greatest minds accept that.
• Life must not exist. All the greatest minds accept that.
• You must not exist as a Jew. Probability proves that.

On what odds are you willing to throw away this heritage and allow a 3,300-year chain of testimony to end with you? Is the comfort of inertia worth betting against a 50,000-to-1 certainty?

And remember, as it is true, we have a life mentally protected from the empty, depressing, utterly horrific world in which an intelligent person must live – unless he allows himself the dubious security blanket of an unprovable blind faith religion – such as atheism.
